New glasshouse for Double H

Double H, the pot plant and ornamental grower, is planning to build a new £3m glasshouse, which is scheduled to be completed in October/November of this year. The new purpose-built heated greenhouse will be used to increase production of the Phalaenopsis orchid, a plant which has seen growing sales in the market as the largest single-flowering plant available. Double H is hoping to further extend their share of the market. Since centralising its operations on a single site in 2005, the company has  already increased production to 55,000 sq. m..
